liblivejournal-perl software package provides Perl implementation of the LiveJournal protocol, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblivejournal-perl
liblivejournal-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblivejournal-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblivejournal-perl *
You will get with liblivejournal-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
